How do I choose the correct wall thickness?

Opening diametermmMeasure the actual opening diameter in the board.Board thicknessmmThis sets the depth of the sleeve inserted into the board.External flange diametermmThe flange should cover the uneven edge of the opening.

The model will be sent to the calculator. PLA is selected by default, but you can change the material, quality and other settings before pricing.

Measure the finished opening

A hole saw can leave an opening slightly larger or less regular than its nominal size. Measure the actual diameter in several directions.

Mounting clearance

A fit that does not need forcing

The configurator subtracts a small clearance from the sleeve diameter, so a correctly made opening should not require excessive force during installation.

Material

Clean-looking PLA by default

PLA is the default for dry interiors. In the calculator you can switch to PETG for moisture or ABS for warmer environments.
